Family Medicine

We strive to provide personalized medical services in a timely andefficient manner utilizing a patient-centered approach.

We provide general medical care and advice for you and your family (adults and pediatrics). Our physicians are very well experienced and knowledgeable to address general medical care needs including illnesses and injuries, preventative exams, sexual health concerns etc.…​Our primary care services include:​·

Women's Health Clinic

This service is run by an experienced female physician who provides PAP tests, IUDs insertion, breast exams, Vaginal swabs and STDs screen, and can address any other female health concerns you may have. For IUDs, patients are generally seen for an initial consult for general contraception /IUD counselling, and then return for another visit for the actual IUD insertion. If you require an IUD insertion at your first visit, please ask your referring doctor for a prescription and bring it with you to your appointment.  


Please note that a referral is not necessarily required for this service and is fully covered by Alberta Health.  

Injury and Sport Medicine Clinic

Do you have a work-related injury or other forms of injury?  Our clinic offers sport injury and work injury assessment clinic that is run by physicians that do direct electronic reporting to Workers Compensation Board if needed. We will ensure the appropriate paperwork is filled out and your injuries are assessed and managed.   

This service is an insured service and fully covered. 


Fertility and Prenatal management

This service is run by an experienced female physician who canaddress issues with fertility give the proper treatment, also can do theprimary work up if referral to a specialized fertility clinic is required.

For Prenatal care, our doctors manage pregnant women from day one of their pregnancy until they are referred and accepted by obstetricians for delivery.

Lumps & Bumps Clinic

This is a minor surgery clinic for small skin lumps and tumors including mole excision, sebaceous/epidermoid cysts, nail excision, skin tag removal, skin biopsies for diagnostic purposes, wart treatment, keloid/hypertrophic scar excision, ipoma/fibroma/dermatofibroma excision, etc. A referral is required for this service. If you require a simple biopsy or excision of a lump, scar etc, please ask your doctor for a referral, this is a direct-to-procedure service, a clear diagnosis or indication for biopsy is required. Your doctor may ask you to do an ultrasound for ill-defined lumps before sending you to this clinic.

Kindly note that mole or skin tag excision for cosmetic purpose is not covered by Alberta Health and involves out-of-pocket payment

Smoking Cessation

Crescent Heights Medical Centre works in collaboration with Mosaic PCN to provide this service. Our physicians are quite knowledgeable in helping you succeed at your next attempt at smoking cessation. They will provide you with resources and support. ​

This service is fully covered by Alberta Health


Psychiatry

Crescent Heights Medical Centre is pleased to offer adult psychiatry services at our location.



Our psychiatrist, Dr. Siv Venumbaka, is A referral from a family doctor is required to assess this service.

Travel Clinic

Are you planning to travel abroad? If you are, we got you covered. The best way to avoid health problems overseas is to get your travel vaccinations before you leave. We provide a one-stop service for your convenience. Our goal is to help prepare you and your family for a successful and healthy trip. Please contact us as soon as you make your travel plans, because some vaccines work best when they are taken as early as 6 months before of travel.
